Well tomorrow Colby is 3 weeks old! I can't believe he's already been apart of this world for almost 21 days. We've started getting into a pattern for eating and we're still working on the sleeping problem. He has let me sleep about 6 hours each of the past two nights. It's been nice. We have loved being able to see some family the last few weeks but are also happy to be alone, just the two of us. I am really enjoying having Colby to myself and feel very spoiled with all the time I get with him. Sterling unfortunately will not be back home until late February, which means he gets to miss a lot of the sleepless nights! haha. We miss you lots daddy and wish you could be here!!
I've found that Colby likes to fall asleep on me and sleep in bed right next to me, no complaints here! I don't mind waking up to his little face every morning. :) He is very alert when he is awake and just studies everything. But one of my favorite things to do is watch him dream, he makes the most adorable faces in his sleep. Here are a few more pictures to show off our little man. We absolutely LOVE him!
He is really adorable. I think he gets even cuter every new picture I see. I see both of you in him for sure. When he is sleeping I see a little of Sterling. Its nice that you have good weather to take him to the beach. We have been having storms and icky weather. I miss you ab\nd cant wait to see you next month. Keep the pictures coming!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sneak peaks. He is a cutie. I see your dad in him, Tarin, but at this stage he's going to change so fast, he'll look like someone different every time you look at him. One thing for sure - he looks like Colby, and that's what matters. What a dear. Sorry to hear about the heat. Enjoy your little one while you can.
